Default I got $2k

OK, so, I'm eagerly awaiting my JDM Front End, and I'll be transferring schools soon (so I'll be out of a job; long story, can't work at the same time after I make this transfer).

*cut to the chase*
I'll have approximately $2k to spend on my car. It's basically a bone stock ITR with an AEM CAI w/bypass.

Question is, what would you do with $2k, and a stock ITR?

first thing i'd do is beef up the suspension...i'd probably spend most of the money on that, then put the rest into the engine

its a type r, guys. i'd think the suspension is damn good enough. although it'll only run a 14.7 in the 1/4 mile. lets make it faster. save the money till u get $3,500 and get a comptech supercharger!

Suggestion: Think about going to a few NASA high performance driving schools to hone your driving skills and open up a whole new world of fun for yourself.

After doing that for a while, you'll have a greater appreciation of what the car's capable and what there is about the car you might want to change.

If, however, you really must spend $2000 on car parts, my suggestion is to get a high quality header and 2.5" cat-back system.

you have any pics of your car?
if you had to put in order to which is most important to you what is it?
1. more power (how much?).
2. appearence
3. audio
4. handling
5. maitence

well since you've started the bolt-ons, might as well finish the system (unless turbo or supercharger is in your future). header, HFcat, Exhuast.

i've got full bolt-ons right now, i don't have the money to support a turbo and if your like me, ( low income, $7.50 an hour) turbo is pretty out of my league in terms of maintence and right now.. full knowledge of it. i like my bolt-ons, it makes the engine breath easier anyways. but the power i feel is more in my ears mainly because right when i got the car i jumped the gun and modded. But if i went back, i'd still get my bolt-ons still but i would've waited untill i was one with my car, so i could notice my perforemence upgrades.

Save the money..

Something else might come up that you'll need the money for.. ie school, or if something happens to the car.
