yea, i've been thinkin that lately too. just replace the cams and intake manifold.

also if you wanna go NA, I wouldnt use that b18a tranny, I would find a gen1 b16a tranny, or the ultra rare 93 GS-R tranny.

For what, the extra two flywheel horsepower the early B18B has over the late B18A? Don't bother, you'll never see a difference on the streets or on the dyno. If you replace the parts, use something worthwhile like Skunk2 manifold and Crower 404's.

i'd start with suspension and brakes cuz you don't want to have a lot of power and not be able to stop or handle it.

i was thinkin Type R intake manfold, or maybe some other brand. gotta look into it a little more.

IMO intake manifold isnt worth it....

find a spare long block - some guys all but throw these away, i sold one for 250 bucks and wish i'd kept it for my rebuild....

anyway get the long block, get some new pistons (high c/r if you want all motor) and some nice cams, at least Crower 403's 404's if you want to do serious tuning.... and get a shorter ratio tranny.
