contrary to belief
the gsr has no speed governor
just your gearing

Yeh the ECU dosen't limit the speed...the puny engine does. Oh well. Anyone know what the gearing is good for in theory?

I think a GSR is geared to max out at 162 and change, I remember reading that somewhere. Someone *****slap me if I'm wrong.

the areodynamic limit for a stock integra is 149. a lowered car can go a bit faster. but i would like to see a stock gs-r hit that. the fastest i went in mine(lowered 2") was 142 indicated. and it took a while to get there.

Well I pegged the speedo at 150 and then watched the tach and it kept climbing so I know i was going atleast 150 +++++ so who cares about statistics next time I guess ill just have to take a picture for the doubters.
and it didnt feel like **** just sounded like the wind was gonna suck the doors open I dont doubt that speedos are inaccurate at higher speeds but I know I was haulin some serious ***

And my Teg is far from stock !!!!!

I was talking on a theoretical level as far as the gearing goes. I'm well aware the drag limit is way earlier.

130 in mine ... ran out of road. And this was with two other guys in the car. (I know, I know ... don't even start to flame me for 'having other people in the car while doing that @#$%' they were consenting adults (heavy one's at that) and we all knew the risks.

Back to the top speed ... she felt like she could've given some more, but like I said, we ran out of freeway ... stinkin traffic.
