Default Lsd

I am thinking about getting a Limited Slip for my '94 GSR. About how much does one cost and which would be the best one to go with without spending too much? Thanks.

a nicely used Type-R helical LSD would probably be the best value.

Will that LSD fit a LS transmission? I know it will fit into a gsr. But what about an LS.

no it won't. LS tranny's would need an aftermarket.

quaife has a decent LSD ~$800

The OEM ITR LSD will fit an LS tranny.

Isn't the final drive different?

I stand corrected...it won't fit since the final drive is different. An OEM SIR LSD will fit though.

Any Idea where I could get one. What would the final drive be. I want to move it to a 4.4 final drive. Thanks

I would get a GSR tranny with a 4.4FD and shorter 3-5 gearing...then you can use an OEM ITR lsd from the US Type R.
