i also dont see the point. k series in that chassis is just excessive money spent. in a 7th gen civic, we have a whole other discussion but in the dc, ek, eg, ef, da chassis i just dont get it.

If all people are going to do is whore this thread, then I'll lock this son of a bitch down.

I might even hand out a few warnings while I'm at it.

That said, why all the hate for a K-series swap? :dunno:
A supercharged K24 would be a great candidate for the DC Integra.

Sure, the K series motors are overpriced now, but as time progresses and the secondhand market opens up, costs will eventually come down.

I just don't see the point in K series swapping a car that already had a good motor to begin with. Wow, 30 crank horsepower for what, 8 grand?

I doubt that... the only thing that finally lowered the price of the B's was the introduction of the K and the gaining popularity of the H.

I still think first gen B16A's are overpriced, then the B18C SiR-G/C1 GS-R starts getting rediculous... the B18C R/C5 R and K's are just stupid expensive... you can get crate 350's pushing and easy twice the horsepower, brand new for as much money.

Kai, qtiger: Point taken. I agree that it'd be the height of idiocy for a GSR owner to swap at this point....and 8 grand for any 4cyl is highway robbery.
 I'm stunned that anyone would buy at that price.

Setting the economic issues aside, I think the technical accomplishment of this swap is worthy of praise by itself. h:
