Default noob help with break pads replacement

hi,

i have an acura gsr 1993, which needs its break pads replaced. I wanted to do it by myself. So I was wondering if there is any "how to" guide available for doing this?

Try doing a search, top of this page, there are a few pretty detailed instructions, including any special tools you might need. Call around too to see where you can get rotors turned for reasonable $$$

I would also consider getting the Haynes manual on the car, it gives you really good step by step instructions. Their about 15$ (I got mine for 7 because of MINOR damage). There are lots of things that you might miss if you just get this info from the forums which with an experienced mechanic they would probably realize it, but you don't want to screw up on brakes, so I would recommend getting the book (or something similar).

plain andsimple get a HAYNES manual and it will teach you much more and is a very good repair manual for all types of vehicles

When you replace the pads, you should also get the rotors resurfaced. It will keep em from squeaking.
