Default Q on k20 vs b20

Hey guys/girls, I have a 93 int ls and I would like to know if it is posible to install a k20 on my chasis. Also, would it be better to run a b20 instead of a k series? The car is going to be an every day runner with a/c. My goal is to build a 13sec integra without a lot of agressiveness on the outside. It stands bone stock right now with about 182km on its oe gin/trns. Any info would really help, thanx in advance.

I don't believe it is possible to throw a K20 RSX engine into an Integra chassis.

Hasport has a kit for a K20 into a 1997-2000 civic. If you wait a little while they may come out with a kit for integras and some axles.

Considering H-series engines require serious work to mount in a 90-93, I really doubt you will have luck with a K-series. We're talking lots of custom work and a total cost in the $5k+ range.

Stick with a B20. It bolts in using stock parts.

I seem to remember reading HASport has a G-3 integra sedan that they run in the honda challenge that is powered by a K 24 with the RSX type s head. If you have enough money, there is little that can not be done with a car.

K series swaps aren't worth it. Too much money, not enough results. It's just bragging material.

Also, i've heard that axle alignment is a problem w/ them. A guy I know did the K20 swap into his '97 civic hatch, and even w/ 700 hp rated axles, he snapped one his first time down the track, and the motor was bone stock.

Good reason not to bother and stick with something tried and true.

i say forget k20 and b20. u should get a stock B18 and sleeve it to 2.0. not only is it better, it stronger then a stock b20 block or k20.
