Short Ram Intake for Gen2 Teg???

No 3'' brand name intake available for set up
Been there and done that actually many times to find that aem will say it is 2.5'' for LS (actually measured 2.75") and 2.75'' for the GSR & Type Rs. Injen is no different except they say it is 3'' but that is only at the filter size not the actual tube diameter. Heck injen customer tech service said that one from the 99-00' Civic Si is the right one to fit my 91-93 series LS set up but it doesn't fit due to the battery and doesn't come near the cold air hole and it is also only 2-13/16ths diameter. I hope someone has more info. thanks!
