Default HELP!!shaking when braking

help guys. anytime I am going over 60 miles an hour on my integra 94 gsr i hit the brakes and it begins to tremble. I dont know whats wrong and need help fast. Has anyone had this problem and if so what did you do to fix it. I think one of my axles might be gone.

does it do this at low speed braking? its possible that its just your rotors are warped.... if anything else was wrong, the car would shake even while accelerating!!

you might need an alignment job done....mine 95 gsr used to do that same thing and when i got it aligned, the vibration stopped... asn74247 could be right as well!

sounds like warped rotors man... especially if you get wheel shakes when braking on the highway for an off-ramp!
If so... try re-torqueing your front wheels. 80lbs in a star
pattern. Might help somewhat.

I had the same problem, it was just that the rotors were warped, got them machined for like $50 and totally fixed it.

word of warning.... if you brake hard and often reshaving the rotors is temp fix. Because now you have less metal/strengthen so it'll warp even easier at high temps

Like everyone said...Warped rotors..Get em machined and get new pads..Good luck to ya..
edit-
FYI...If your caliper was sticking you would smell it because of the brakes heating up..
