Ok... my '95 RS still has the stock antenna and it worked perfect until i put my deck in the car. Now when i turn the radio on it dosen't go up anymore. Anybody know how to get it to still go up without the stock deck?

 

I took that worm gear driven piece of crap and put an amplified shark attack II fuba in it's place. Looks better and works better. Getting it out is a pain in the ass though.

 

there is a antenna power wire.. locate it and hook it to your decks pwr ant. wire and ur in good

You have to hook up the "ANT." wire or the "REMOTE" wire it should be BLUE. If you used a harness to do this you should have got it right. Unless you got a cheap radio and it don't have either of those I've never seen that but I'm sure the exist. If you have both wires, hook it up to the ANT. wire because that one will only raise the ant. only when you turn on the radio and not the cd player. If you only have one blue wire then that is the wire that you need to use BUT your ant will stay up as long as the head unit is on radio/cd/whatever. That sucks because the ant. is f%&*ing ugly.
