What is it you're going to be doing with the car?

smooth enough yet edgy enough for the surves

i am in your position, stuck w/out the stock suspension. After 2+ years of driving on eibach sportlines (which came on the car) i have decided to upgrade. Because i do mostly auto-x and hpde's ive decided to to go w/ the buddy club race spec dampers. Through my reasearch they seem to be the best bang for the buck and many places have them on sale right now

I've been looking in to autox it. Since i hear all these great things about its handling capabilities but i wanted to improve on top of the type r original suspension. I am also aware that class are the best way to do this to make me the better driver so i am really looking for something that will improve the car.

same here. i got my car with h&r springs and never got to feel the stock suspension. i am only planning on getting shocks so that'll get some good times at autox.

Default Dampers

Probably the best way to go for dampers if you are gonna autocross it, are Konis. You can stay in the Stock class with just these shocks.

If you have springs already, you can still go with Konis and run STX.

When you get real serious however, Koni revalves are the way to go in auto-x

By any chance, do you have any idea of an explanation for the move from Koni to Buddy Club and JIC in the Honda racing circles?
