Default CV Joint Axel Question

I have attached a couple of pics of my front right suspension from my 94 integra gsr w/ 104,000 miles.

My main question is about the axel. The plastic covering around the axel has come off and the axel has begun to rust.

Is this an immediate concern? If not, would priming it with POR-15 do any good?

I was trying to check out the bushings. What is a good way to check the bushings?

Any other comments about the suspension from the pics would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

i will recommend you to replaced the cv boot, because when the water or dirty get inside the joint,it will be making noise after, then you have to spend more money to fix.
