350whp: 6 puck disk w/ stock pressure plate?
I've heard of people doing this on other cars but want to know if anyone has tried with an integra. The 6 puck makes for strong grabs and the stock pp will serve as good control of engagement so you don't let out so fast. Please let me know your opinions. I'm looking for something that will handle the power but is also my daily beater.
i hear the 6 puck grabs hard as hell. and i've always thought it was the disc that determines how it engages. when i got my clutch, i got the street/strip disc for smoother engagement. and if you are getting an aftermarket clutch, why keep the stock pressure plate? since its your daily beater, i strongly suggest not getting the 6 puck.

I would not run that much torque on a stock pressure plate.
In terms of letting out fast, are you referring to the pedal pressure being so heavy that you tend to "pop" it out? You can get a PP that isnt so stiff, there are lots of options out now. Any way you slice it, a puck disc on a street setup wont be the smoothest engagement. I wouldnt run a stock PP that isnt capable of holding that power in order to make the clutch more streetable.

a 6 puck would grab pretty hard, i rather get a full disc clutch, last year i bought an 3 puck and after an exact year it gave up on me. clutch was slipping a 3 puck has a bad design, the clutch is an exedy. so i went back to a stock clutch, but i rather go with a stock so it can last longer, my 3 puck only lasted me for a good 20k miles. dont waste your money on it unless u plan to beat the shit out it. than yah get it. that my 2 cents
