Agreed, but I'd recommend something slow, ugly, and reliable over something fast, pretty, and nearing the end of its ninth trip around the planet mileage wise.

test drive it first.. see if there are a lot of problems, if everythings good (which i doubt) then go for it

My old Prelude had 223k miles and it ran fine, but I would test drive it and shtuffff first

I'd rather kick a couple bucks fixing an Integra then drive around an OK condition Civic.

It all depends! I have a friend who has a 90 tegra with 325k and that car runs better then most. When I drive it I deat the crap out of it and it never gives me problems. Remember just because it has a shit load of miles does'nt mean the car will not last and or be a good car. I have my 95 tegra with 182k and there is close to no integra newer or same age as mine that runs,sounds,feels better. Integras Hell hondas are made to last. I think you should take him down to $800 and that would be a better deal. GOODLUCK!
