order a manual from a parts store. there are free digital manuals, but its good to have the real thing. do all the scheduled maintenance. get to know the car by getting in and seeing what holds her together. I mean go ahead and sit in the back seat, check out the panels and find out what its all about.
or of course you could spend ungodly hours here at HAN...

Hehe Yeah whoever told you there is no manuel for your car is full of shit! Get the Helms or the other one that starts with an H. That car will last you well over 300,000k. But seems like you pretty much got off the a good start.
yep. Your local auto parts should be able to order a manual that covers that model as well as a couple of others perhaps, for around 10 bucks. Unfortunately a lot of A-holes will lie to you cause they are lazy and think they can get away with it, or they'll tell you the wrong thing.
good luck w the stereo... i've never pulled out a stock one.... you may find a thread that covers it in here somewhere too.

It is crucial that you change the timing belt when supposed to, consider doing water pump at the same time. Helms manual is available online, do a search on it and you will come up with the site address
www.helminc.com and the other one is Haynes. I boughtthe Helm's and it's better than anything you'll find at an auto parts store. It is the factory service manual that the dealers use.
To pull out the stereo there are two screws on the back of the unit, going up. They are very hard to get to.
