Mugen rear wing
Functional or not, we all know not everything we buy is completly for the sake of functionality. Rims, sure maybe their lighter then steelies but they make or break a car. Is a wing cool? Sure the type-r wing looks good imo but not $300-500 dollars cool (buying, painting cost). Ya the wing won't work unless one's going at excessive speed but then again, Are those lighter / stronger rims really do anything for us? Nope, they look cool dammit.
The mugen wing is cool if you've got a track car or somthing but it just reminds me of rice.
ps: (i love stickers).

1 - I go to loads of foruns, and always try to use the search function in respect to the usual users. Anyway why should the information be on various posts when it can be all gathered in one post, even if its 3 years old. As far as I know there's no validity date for post
2 - Thanks for all the answers, altought I was really looking for a more technical reason to have or not to have it. Visually I totally agree it's better to have the wing, but as I'm a low budget track goer anything that's cheap (like removing a wing) it's counted for.
3 - So I already hit the track with the car wingless and felt nothing. There was a bit of "tail wigle" when braking on the end of the straight at 220kph (137mph), but I pretty sure it happened the same with the wing. I have to weight the wing and see how much weight was shaved, but remember that the wing sits in a very high position so it's bad for your CG.
