Default Ola!

Hey there Gals and Guys!

Just wanted to introduce myself. 1st Post.. haha.

I just got a 96 2dr. LS and am trying to figure out what I want to do to the engine.

First mod is definately going to be suspension... of course.. cause right now its High rolling.. serious 4x4.

Unfortunately, I am not to well versed when it comes to Integra mods. I do however have a backround with Preludes.

Any HELPFUL comments will be appreciated.

Cheers,
Laura

welcome! Looks like you got a cool car to work on. What kinda suspension and engine work are you planning on doing? intake/header/exhaust or forced induction? Are you lookin to go really low or just enought to notice it? good luck with it and make sure to update us

Thanks for the reply....

Personally I am an NA gal... there are too many things to worry about if you go forced induction (thats just my opinion). As for a drop.. I am looking to drop about 2" but I don't want a terribly rigid ride... otherwise I'll need to wear a sports bra when ever I go out...lol. Also if I go too too low it will look funny without a kit.

On to the Engine. Like I said.. I have more experience with an H22A engine. I am not even sure what the LS has in it. Somewhere down the road I'll end up doing a swap of some kind whether it be to a GSR engine or just swapping out the Head. Depends on the gains.

well the ls motor..along with every single honda motor out there (atleast it seems like it) lacks torque. The LS motor is a good base engine wiht 140hp at the fly and u can get a lot done with it but a GSR swap would be a plus! Suspension wise I have h&R sports on my car which is a 1.5 front and 1.75 back drop and I think its perfect. $156 off tirerack is a great price i think. The Eibach sportlines on the other hand will lower your car about .25 inches more than the sports but you pay $100 more. So i would definatly recommend the sports. www.tirerack.com is where i ordered mine

LS is B18B, there is a ton of stuff out there for integras, that is the biggest difference between them and the preludes, better aftermarket support for B series motor

Integra's are the most wanted Honda. Most people I know who own a civic wish they owned an Integra. Good choice!

I tend to prefer full coilovers to shock&spring combos. The Tein SS system is a very streetable ride.

welcome to HAN
i also prefer the coilovers over springs since it gives you the option to go looooooww for show and raise it when you drive home IMO
