On the crank??

Actually, which sensor are you talking about?
CKP = crank position sensor is in the distributor
CKF = crank fluctuation sensor (OBD2 only) is behind the crank timing sprocket

ok.. that helped a bunch actually!

next question. is there a way to test the "Crank Position Sensor" in the distributor (CKP)??

& is it possible that the CKP would limit me from getting spark?

Get a wiring diagram for your engine... My '95 Integra the CKP sensor has the blue/green & blue/yellow wires. Take off the distributor, hook up a meter to those wires.

It's supposed to pulse as you spin the distributor. I guess you should really use an oscilloscope, but maybe you can see it with a voltmeter?? (I haven't tried this.)
