I have a friend of mine who has a 92 LS with intake and header with no exhaust and the car has been gutted. This weekend he ran 8:70's all motor. It has a set of 20x8x14" slicks on steelies. I think that is running damn fast for a stock motor. Anyone else have times on stock LS runs?

No way he is running 8.7 1/8th mile times with a stock LS. My highly modded b18a ran a 9.721 1/8th mile. Maybe he's turbo'ed.

I ran a 9.8 wit intake header exhaust, cat and gears, thats with 17s 2 12" subs full interior and its a 2000 LS

the hell you say............ALL that is on that car is a DC Sports header with no exhaust...........and a cold air intake that is piped in through the headlight..........thats it.

I have a 95' Rs, with full interior and 17" Maxxim rims. My best time is 11.05, although I know I could go into the high 10s.

8.70, I guess it's possible. I've seen a modded 90' civic Dx with the interior gutted, intake and exhaust and a few upgraded parts run 10.88 on the 1/8 mile.

I hava another friend with a gutted 97 Civic EX with slicks, I,H,E, and 75 shot and he ran 8:01. He just had the head for that car sent to Cali and gotit back so he should be in the 7's this time around. The LS has sometihng like 1:66 or 1:86 something like that 60 foot times. I will get the slips and put in the info. They run an import class here on Friday nights and the only car that beat him was an all wheel drive Eclipse that ran 8:07. Hell the guy driving the LS had a 94 Civic Si HB that with full interior and I.H. ran 9:81.
