Does anybody have any info on Honda-Acura tranny compatibility? I just got a 90 Teg LS with a blown auto tranny. Was wondering if a Honda would fit cause i have one. Thanks

I think the only "Honda" transmission that would work would be out of the 99-00 Civic Si. I could be, and probably am wrong, but I'm almost certain that will bolt up to a B18B engine.

I'm pretty sure the 90 integra comes with a b18a1, unless of course its a gsr, in which case the engine would be a b17 vtec. In either case any b- series transmission would work, including that of the 99-00 si. The problem would be changing from a cable tranny to hydro, in which case the slave and master cylinders would be needed from the civic, along with the VSS i (think). Also if i'm not mistaken the pedal assembly is different. Some one else correct me if i'm wrong

I thought the d-series was on the 90 and it changed to the b-series starting in 91

The 90-91's use a 130hp version B18A1.

Look at the car in question. Does it have pop-up headlights? That's an 86-89.

Does it have normal "bar" headlights? That's a 90-93.
