Default Cold Air Intake

How much better is an AEM cold air intake (for a GSR) than a generic one, or a Bomz one?

Really, it's practically the same item. As long as the generic CAI is the proper diameter, it should function the same as an AEM one. Remember, in the end it's just a metal pipe. The only reason to get an AEM would if you needed a CARB EO # like in CA.

V2 is the latest model from AEM and is supposed to do more than a regular CAI. I've heard it doesnt do shit. A bypass valve is something that filters water out of the intake incase it gets in there...hope that helps...dont wanna be mean but search and you can find ur questions 10 times faster
