Default Wierd "creaking" noise

Sometimes, when I turn there is a very odd creaking noise that comes from the back. It sounds kinda like an old truck turning. Does anybody know what this might be an how I might fix it.

kinda vague.... is it coming from the drivers or passenger side? only when you turn left/right or both? everytime or only sometimes?

I think it is coming from both sides (but not possitive). It happens only sometimes (less than half the time) and it doesnt matter if its a left or right turn. It seems like it happens more often when there are people in the back.

given the "low" miles, id lean more toward bushing being dry rotted than dead struts...

I have that same problem that I have been trying to get rid of for almost a year. I replaced the struts and springs and also put in a ITR sway bar and nothing would make the sound go away. I have it on the passenger side in the back. I figure it might be the trailing arm bushings because they look pretty rotted but I don't want to replace them myself because I've heard they are a bitch. I don't really want to pay out the ass for someone else to replace them either because, frankly, it doesn't bother me that much.
