Default Need help with immobilizer...

Just did a 2000 type r swap into a 96gsr. I want to use the 2000 type r ECU. I have gotten the correct conversion harness from obd2a to obd2b. When i tried to attach the immobilizer to the ECU, the car still didnt start. Does anyone know enough about this to help me?
I think that there is a way to remove the immobilizer from the ECU, or bypass the system altogether? Right now i have the immobilizer unit with the key zip tied to it sitting right by the ECU with a power wire on 15A, a ground wire, and two other wires plugged into the ECU in slots 13 and 25 in the 408 ECM connector. This is where the diagrams say the immobilizer connects to the ECU so i am assuming that is correct. However the car still doesnt start. Everything comes on and the CEL goes on then goes off, just wont turn over. I am assuming it is because the immobilizer unit is not allowing the ECU to give the engine gas.
Please help me.

I dont know if this would be the problem but on my 95 ls after I changed the cap and rotor my car would do the same thing. The starter wouldnt click or anything. I think I ended up taking it on and off and messing with it and finally i started. You could check that. Its just an idea though. Also does the fuel system pressurize? When you turn the key to the on position you should hear the fuel system pressurize for about 2 seconds. I think then 2 lights I think will click off(on the cluster).

what you need is the ignition switch and the key that came with that Type-R
if you have that you just take the immobilizer box it's the ring around the switch hook up the 4 wires power, ground, immob, sync wires take the key and zip tie it to the ring and it should start!!! you need the key that came with that ecu as the code has to match but the immobilizer box on that car doesn't store the code so it can be off any car if you don't have the key that came with it you have to install the type-r ignition switch in your 96 if you want the key to fit your doors have the lock rekeyed then wire it up plug the 96 ecu in drive it to acura plug the type-r ecu back have them cut and program new keys for your car
