Default 215/45-16 on Lowered Integra

Right now my 96 GS-R is dropped 1.25" with Comptech Springs and I'm running 205/45-16 ES100s. I'd like to get Azenis when these wear out, but the closest size is 215/45-16.

Do you guys think I'll have problems with rubbing because of the extra width/sidewall height? Is anyone here running this size on their lowered Integra?

285/35/18

If you were using a 15", I would say it that it would be safe to use those without rubbing. I'm not sure about a 16" though. It will be close though.

I dont know if you will rub but the correct plus size for the 16" wheel is 205 45 16 for the Integra

They should fit. I had CL 16" wheels with 215/40/16 on them and they only rubbed on the back going over bumps but that was because of the adapters pushing the wheel further out. I think that it is only a 10mm difference in width anyways. Look at how close your tires come now and see if you have room for another 10mm.

Default 215/45-16 are JDM ITR tires

I know this thread is old, but incase the original poster is still watching it.

The 215/45-16 is the size tire Honda used on the '98 Spec Integra Type-R in Japan. So, I actually think it would be the best size out of any possible.
Unfortunately I am still to test the theory, since 215/45-16 tend to have low treadlife and higher price. But if you do/did try it, let us know what you think.

I had 205/45/16 on my Integra w/a 2 inch drop and it was fine.
