replacing a starter
Well, my starter is on its way out. Can I just get a decent replacement from somewhere like Autozone? I thought I remembered reading somewhere that there starters don't bolt up exactly right? Anyways, I'd be changing out the starter in a '94 GSR. What steps do I have to take? Is it very hard? Thanks.

starter is very easy to replace it's just 2 12 or 14mm bolts. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you take it off. A starter from Autozone should work just fine Good Luck

Thanks for all the info! Any idea how long a starter that's "on it's way out" will last me until i can get the new one? (kind of an arbitrary question, i know....just curious.)
