i need to get my front bumper off but i cant. do i have to take the headlights out because there is a screw under the glasslight to get the bumper off only the fiberglass if i can. i have the manual. in the picture it has the front lights in and it dont say anything about the big round screws on the top that are under all the lights.all it says they are inback of the turn lights. will that get the bumper off?..but i dont see how that can if the screws are holding the fiberglass down at the top.i got the coner lights out and the fog lights but i can get the glass out. i am trying to take the whole light frame out but there is one screw right in back of the glass and it is impossible to get at. Does any one how to get the whole light frame out. this is a pic of the top screws i am talking about.

 

To remove the front bumper:

Remove the screws that hold it to the radiator support.

Unscrew the bolts that attach the fender to the bumper on the inside of the fender.

On the inside of the engine bay there is a bolt on each side where the bumper lines up with the fender.

Detach the fenderwells from the bumper underneath the bumper.

Then pull the bumper straight forward and it should come off, if it resists then you missed something.

Oooh, then it's different, those instructions were for a 3rd gen.

Okay, for the 2nd gen.

1) Remove the two screws from the inside of the fender well on the bumper.

2) Remove the two screws from each bumper light, unplug the lights.

3) Remove the two bolts from under the bumper.

4) Remove the bolts behind the bumper lights, total of 4.

5) Grab the center of the bumper, lift up and pull forward, it should come off.

 

yea listen to him thats right....i dont know what you were talking about though because you do not have to take out your headlights to get the bumper off. Those bolts that you are talking about are to hold the headlights in and have nothing to do with your bumper.
