Default Wystar tires

I have a chance to buy some Wynstar Exocet R-27 205/40-ZR17 tires for a reasonable price. I really haven't heard of these tires, and am wondering if they are good or not. Does anyone have any experience with these tires. thanks

I've never heard of this brand... h:
TireRack.com has a whole section of their site dedicated to customer reviews of different tires. It's broken down by brand if memory serves. I'd strongly reccommend checking them out.

I ran some Wynstar Tires for what I paid for them they were fine, I tracked and autocorssed on them and they help up good, not very sticky, and not to stiff of a side wall, but for everyday driving they were fine and I got close to 35000 miles out of them.

I looked into getting these when I purchased new tires about a month ago. The place I bought tires from told me that they were decent for mileage, and they were a pretty round (not many irregularities to them). He also said that Wynstars are made by Michelin. They're prolly good for me money, but I don't think they'd stack up to some higher $$ performance tires. You get what you pay for. My sister has had a set of their Phaser passenger tires on her Mazda 323 for the last 2+ years and has gotten lots of great mileage out of them. My $.02 says check them out more before making a decision.
