Default off topic question . . . tires

hey, i didnt kno where to ask this . . so i guess i'll jusst ask it here

scenario:: my mom gotta flat (lexus es300) so she was gonna get two new tires . .. but america tire depot said her other two had a speed rating below oem specs.

so it looks like shes getting 4 new tires . . .

question:: what are some good tires for her car? i dont want to recommend her a performance tire because all she cares about is ride quality . . .so i was thinkin about getting her some tame, low noise tires.

any suggestions? she used to believe in only michellin or bridgestone but ever since i got kumhos shes been considering cheaper tires . . .. but its a luxury car . . i dont want her riding on bargain tires. . .

thanks for the consideration.

www.tirerack.com

You can just put in the year, make, and model of you mom's car in tirerack's website and it will give you a list of all the tires that will work with her car. They also have user reviews of each tire on the site. Tirerack's got a pretty good selection and competetive pricing. If you prefer to get your tires locally, ask the shop to match their pricing. Good luck.

prolly need a XXX/60 or 70/XX...for road noise purposes
wet weather, in my opinion, Michellins are better

Hey.
My uncle just changed all tires on his ES300, he has Toyo Proxes on and I drove it for a few weeks, I really liked the way they handled. Only downside I could pick out was they were noisier than others (road noise)

Can't got wrong with Michelin's... but Kumho's are actually not far from it. If $ is the factor, I'd lean towards the Kumho's... if not then definitely Michelin's/Potenza's.
