resetting IAC valve - 92 Integra LS; question answered

Just removed and cleaned my idle contral valve, screen was about 50% clogged.

Reattached it but now the engine will not idle. On start-up, sinks right down to a shut off.

ANSWER: according to the dealer there is no reset for IAC. It just needed the idle reset. Was so far off it would not hold an idle.

you need to reset your ecu. you can either disconnect the battery for like 10 seconds or pull out the in dash fuse for i think it is hazard, but i'm not sure exactly which one it is on the tegs.

oops, i didn't mean in dash, i meant under the hood fuse box. Man you woulda been searchin for hours for the right fuse. lol

I discovered the idle was so far off from being set with filter clogged that setting idle screw did it. I acted like there was no idle.
