Default Unorthodox racing pulleys

I cant get the alternator pulley off to replace it, any helpful hints?

the alternator is out of car

Are you loosening both the adjusting nut at the top of the alternator and the mounting nut at the bottom of the alternator? That will provide you with the slack you need.

If you don't have the nut off already, use an impact gun. :yes:

If you absolutely can't get it off and you already have the nut off, you may need to use a pulley puller. Don't try smacking the back of the pulley with a hammer because it will bend and never be usable again.

Crap, for some reason I was thinking alternator belt, not pulley.
