I just got a new axle to put on my car well, after getting the old one off, I went to go put the new one on and on the new one the outer joint is seized, I'm wondering if it is possible for me to fix this myself tonight or just wait tomorrow and take it back and get another. My next question is if I do this tonight should just lowering the car and putting it into gear be enough to unseize it?

 

take it back, no sense in fighting with it, maybe screwing it up and buying it twice
