CEL 41: o2 :(
I got a kamikaze header that was made for a 90-91 teg, installed it on my 93. Problem is the o2 bung is on the very top part of the header instead of at the end of the downpipe. I spliced the wires and extended them. The thingy i had the wires tied to broke and some of the o2 sensor wires touched the block, and shorted blowing my ecu fuse. fixed the short and the problem, now my CEL comes on, code 41. I took my car to walmart to get my oil changed and the guy said my CEL was on and that it was caused by the o2 heater wire. How can he tell its the heater wire? And is my o2 sensor ****ed? Can u fry o2 sensors by shorting them? Thx
