Maitenence Light
I searched and I couldn't find anything, but my maitenence light on my 2000 Integra LS came on, and I haven't had the car for long, so is it because I need to change the oil? It came on shortly after I drove it 3000 miles. That would be MY guess...but I'm not sure. So if you have any answers for me, feel free to answer them or flame me, lol. Thanks.
Your maintenance light will come on at specific intervals to remind you to conduct normal maintenance, for example, an oil change. What's your odometer reading now?
Go ahead and change the oil, along with any other necessary maintenance items, then reset the maintenance light. Do this by reaching your right hand down on the right hand side of the steering wheel to underneath the dash. You should feel a small, square button. Turn your key from Off to On (not Start) and push that button. Your light will dissapear!
