i am looking into buying a 96 integra SE..... it only has 96k Kilomteres! its unbelieveable! can this be a scam? i mean like is there a way i can take it to acura dealership and find out the TRUE odometer reading ? i know on lexus sc400 it has a onboard computer that records the milage even if u stop the dashboard odometer! its really hard to believe that 96 integra has such a low kilometers!

 

I bought a 95 gsr with 50k miles on it a few months ago, so it's possible.

 

is there a on board computer on integra where u can find out true kilometers?

 

i dont know about the onboard computer...but that isnt THAT low of milage. my 91' corolla has 103k which is roughly 8k a year (only slightly higher than the car you are looking at)

 

be smart and sign up for carfax!! it will cost $20 or $25 unlimited for a month, so that cheap compared to what i went through cause i didn't check carfax before i bought it only after. but there are a lot of good things about that so i strongly suggest doing it...you will regret it if you had to put in $3 1/2 grand into my car plus the car value will drop a lot as mine did $3 grand.
