Default LS/vetc swap

I searched, there wasn't a direct answer to this.

I own a 2000 LS if I swap on a Vtec head and route the oil line like I'm suppose to, do I have to upgrade pistons (I what to go with boost one day but buget doesn't allow it right now). In other words what else do I have to do?

just puttin the head on the LS motor wont be optimal, you wont make as much power as you want, you wont be able to rev as high, and your long term dependability will go down. but, you can do it that way. id recommend using the golden-eagle LSVTEC kit if you want to make it easiest...

but id also recommend upgrading your rods, pistons, etc to make the best power and dependability... this is stuff you can find searching. any more questions that you cant find answers to, ask away.
