Power Window question...
I own a 96 Integra GSR...today, I had both my windows rolled partially down...when I got to work, I noticed my passenger side power window would not roll up...
I tried it from the drivers side and no repsponse (so it may eliminate the possiblility of it being the master switch)...I then tried it from the passengers side, and nothing...I checked the fuse box, and the 20A fuse is still intact...would these sysptoms imply that the motor on the power window is shot ? I dont feel like donating $ 90 to my dealer to tell me what the problem is...
Also, for the mean time, is there a way to manually slide or crank the window up to deter any thieves...Ive already taken off the door panel, so everything is exposed (though it is hard to squeeze my arm in)...I wondering if I can take an allen wrench, and roll up the window till I purchase the part and get it fixed...I dont wanna look ghetto, and drive around with a plastic sheet covering my window...thanks !

i had the same problem with my integ. it worked completely fine before right? then all of a sudden it doesnt work? check the wiring from the door to the body of the car...hold the harness and wiggle it around while you push the switch up with your other hand. it worked it for me...maybe it might work for you too. if that doesnt work maybe the brushes on your pw motor is dirty. first try taking a mallet and give it some good taps while you play with the switch...if that doesnt work try taking the motor out and throwing it against the wall a few times...or you could just do it the easy way and get a dvom and test for power to the motor...it should read batt voltage.
