We can assume everyone here is like twin3037 with access to high speed ovals and GPS tracking devices (), but I'm pretty sure everyone knows that's not the case.

I think everyone also knows that It's pretty stupid to do something like try and probe the top speed of any vehicle on public road. Everyone has probably tried it at some point.

I'm willing to allow people to post results achieved in the past if they renounce their stupid ways and don't promote doing it in the future.

i did not do this on a high speed oval that was a attempt at sarcasm but i did verify the speed with a tracking device that was used to keep tabs on me by my parents i jsut erased the info before they got to it and yea i don't do that stuff my best freind dies a month ago from speeding so no more

My GSR's seem 140 on the speedo.

 

I know, hence the () in my post. Perhaps I should have put it directly after saying "high speed ovals" which would have been a bit more clear. Sorry for any confusion.

 

Thats a good question I know now. I know my 91 RS tops out at 129mph. and my Type-R tops out at 149mph.

 

my 2000 gsr with i/h/e gets up to 150+ pretty easy when i got the car i was thinking ok maybe it may do 130ish but i burried it with two other in the car
racing my friends celica all-trac and im dead serious i could not beleave it i know the speedo must be off a bit but not much or maybe its completly off.

 

People are not following the guidelines I laid out, so unfortunately I have to close this thread.

Hint: you can't mention things like racing a friend's car at high speeds presumably on public roads.
