power would max out before gearing. cause a GSR will do 80 right around 4000 RPMs in 5th. so the gearing would be good till 160 unluess you are refering to 4th gear...

 

for me 90... i get scared and i won't go any faster now matter how clear or straight the road is.

 

I can tell you those specs are inaccurate, I've hit 140 in my GSR. Even with speedo inaccuracy, it was still definetly higher than 130.

 

In my LS teggy I hit 134, drafting behind a celica gt :driving:

 

just a 5 mph tail wind will make a 5 mph difference though. so who knows. i did 131 in both directions in my GSR and it had a CAI.

 

The stock speedometer is really optimistic at those speeds.

Unless the speed was verified by an external timing device (radar, laser, GPS, etc) everything posted here is mostly useless.

As for driving like this on public roads....well, that's dumb too.

 

ahhh thats where i trump u guys i ahve a gps tracker in my car and i rewinded i went back to the info i dowloaded from it for the day i did top speed test and it read out a 139

 

Hey fats, doesn't this talk of road speed and 135 mph sort of violate the terms of use/service by chatting about breakin' the law. BTW, mine has seen inc\dicated 135 mph, with plenty left

 

noo i was doing this on a high speed oval....

 

129 is all i can get out of her....good enough for me right now
