Very well, but keep this in mind: the police, most likely, will not share your tastes...particularly if you take off your resonator.

Never had a problem with mine.

And you guys haven't read his post right. He's getting the N1 MUFFLER, not the whole cat-back.

The muffler has plenty to do with the overall sound of the exhaust, even if the stock pipes are still used.

Yes, but just adding a muffler to stock piping won't make it unbareably loud such as you guys are saying. That is until he takes out the resonator.

Why dont you just keep your cynical remarks to yourself. He has stated in another thread that he likes loud exhaust systems, and we know what happens when you respond insulting his opinion.

I did keep my remark to myself.

People are free to express their opinions even if they happen to be negative, and I happen to not like canister style mufflers even if they are stuck to stock piping. The title of this thread asks for an honest opinion, and that is mine.

To put it another way, if someone posted in one thread that they like really big huge fiberglass bumpers, then in another thread they talked about which really big huge fiberglass bumper they should by, that should not preclude someone else from making a negative remark.

Finally, I am far from the only person in this thread to have said something negative about this particular style of exhaust.

True...but anytime I make a negative remark...you get all pissed and pretty much lock the thread. You act like it okay for you to make negative remarks b/c you're a moderator. But if I, or anybody, makes one...we broke the ****ing law. From now on...if you see a Thread started by me, stay away from it, you only cause trouble.

Quite the contrary.

Negative remarks are one thing, flaming and in general resorting to attacking what someone says are something entirely different.

I kept to the subject, I just don't happen to agree with you on it. All I did was offer my subjective opinion about loud exhausts. You did ask for opinions, read the title.

If for whatever reason you can't handle being disagreed with, that's your problem. You've clearly demonstrated that you have a short fuse and are prone to overreact even when no one has even come close to saying something which should cause you to be angry.

I am not about to start toeing a line because you can't handle it when someone disagrees with you. The way this site works: people disagree. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you will stop having a problem with me. I've been more than tolerant of your insolent attitude even though other moderators have already expressed a desire to get rid of you.

Get it through your head that people do in fact disagree, and the only reason threads get locked over a disagreement is when one of the involved parties can't take it and stoops to name calling. Consider this your first and final warning: if something like this happens again, no haste will be made in banning you.

TeHJuSTiN: you are just as much a part of this problem. You apparently know c_rogue69 in real life and since he has shown up here you have done nothing but encourage this type of behavior. While you may accept this style of interaction, the site does not and any further incitement of your friend's rage will result in punitive action as well.
