Default Installing new suspension kit

WOHOO!!! I just got my Koni Yellows and Ground Controls and can't wait to get them installed.

My concern is, can i go to any shop to get these parts installed, or do i need to go to a shop that specializes in performance parts?

Thanks in advance

Put them on yourself. They are sooo easy. Take the wheels off. One bolt at bottom of shock then two brake line bolts and the two nuts in the trunk. At most someone may have to push down on the hub to work it out. 14, 12, 17 mm and some foot action. Either learn how or spend over $200

I agree, do it yourself, it's an experience, and you will be saving money.

I'm going to do my install in a week when my suspension comes.

it only cost me 150 to have my struts, coilovers, and camber kit to be put on THE RIGHT WAY instead of me trying to do it and messing things up.... plus when they were doing it, my rear lower control arms froze and they had to fix that b/c they were installing it and it took them a long time to drill everything out to fix it...i dont know what i wouldve done if i was installing it myself...but u can do what u want. it would be a great experience to do it yourself though

yeah, i understand that it would be a great learning experience but I'm just worried that if I make a mistake, I'll have no idea what to do to fix it....i think i'll just bring it to a shop, this way i'll be worry free...

The thickness of your tire, Spring rate and dampening will effect your ride quality. Most of the time when cars are loweres extremely the alignment is so far off that it creates a horrible ride.

How old is your car? Mine had abour 99k on it when I put on my springs/shocks, and my rear lower control arm bolts had fused to the bushings. I was able to do the front reasonably easy, but I had to take the car to a shop to break out the rear bolts for me. $100 dollars worth of labor and $50 worth of bushings and bolts (from the dealer) later, I changed out the rears shocks and springs myself.

Let me know when you get them put on. I'm having issues adjusting my coilover perches ( I have the same setup) and would be interested in seeing if you have the same problem (my perches are frozen; bolt wont move, plus my front perches are loose but because of problem stated above I can't tighten them)
