I have a 98 integra and i removed my strut to put coilovers on but the spring compressor wont fit.The coils are to close together and the compressor wont fit between them.I can get the top to just fit in but thats it.Ive done this before on my 92 accord and had no problems .I was just wondering if any one else had this problem?By the way it was a MacPherson compressor

 

Havent had that problem...where did you get the compressor? Are you having fitment issues while taking them apart? You shouldnt need to compress to put them back together.

You know you can go to Pep Boys/Autozone, etc and theyll rent you a manual spring compressor for free?

 

try loosening the top nut some, not all the way, but a ways so the spring can expand and give you more room. I take them off without a spring compressor, but that's a safety issue that you can decide for yourself.
