whatcha guys think of a 95 GSR black on black...lets say i wanna put a Carbon Fiber hood, Gunmetal rims (dont know which ones yet) and red accent dress up...would it look good or has anyone seen a GSR with that?
Don't put a carbon fiber hood on a black car, that's pointless. And is you get black rims, eww. You gotta have some contrast, get some gold rims. Or better yet, get some red or blue rollers, that would be pimp and different.

I personally dont think a carbon fiber hood is worth the $$$ on a black car primarily for visual reasons (spending $$$ for an expensive CF hood on a black car to save 50 lbs has very low priority on my list of to-do). I like the way CF hoods look on white/yellow cars, but on a black car...I think you're better off getting a functional vented hood (like the mugen one). If you do end up getting a carbon fiber hood paint it so it matches the rest of your car.
Rims? Gunmetal is really getting into style; I'm still waiting to see how my LE-37's are going to look on my teg, but gunmetal is clean and aggressive. By red accent dress up I'm assuming you mean some 2-tone color matching deal; black + red =

I think it would look sweet to get gunmetal rims on black. I would agree though that you should paint a CF hood. It wouldn't be enough of a contrast with the rest of your car, so you'd probably get a lot of "why is your hood a different color" if you hadn't painted it. If you got black racing seats with red accents, and maybe painted you brake calipers red, I think that would look real sweet. Though I did hear that painting the calipers is a bad idea, but I don't know anything about that...

Painting calipers isn't a horrible-dead-wrong-kill-your-mother kind of idea, but it's in the same vein as painting your windshield wiper yellow. Might as well spend your time elsewhere, and save up for a legit brake upgrades (then you can get red calipers that say BREMBO on them
h: ) Painting calipers is more trouble that it's worth IMO; sure it may color match well but people will just laugh at you.
