Bad to run without O2 sensor?
I had my O2 sensor go out and i tryed to remove it, with no luck, i need somthing stronger, cuz its stuck...
So i twisted the wires back togehter (cuz i cut them to get a socket around it) and now after a few minutes of driving my CEL comes on, im sure its from the o2 lol...
So i dont know if this is hurting my engine driving it around like this...cuz its my daily driver, and i need to drive it around, it idles just fine and cane tell any power difference....
Am i hurting my motor?
Thanks

Nah it's ok to drive without it but it may be polluting the air a little. I would just take it to a tire shop and have them take it out and then put the new one in yourself. They should be able to get it out in less than 15 minutes with air tools and whatnot.

You can still run your car without the o2, however you will burn more fuel due to the failsafe rich condition the ecu gets thrown into when it doesn't recieve input from the o2 sensor.

What happens when it reveiced bad input from the O2...i was reading off mine with a voltometer, and it would go from .1-.9 randomly even at idle, all the way up and down the scale, and somtimes stick at super rich or super lean...
