AEM really does claim an inordinate gain on the GS-R motor; however, this isn't realised on the ITR or on most other Honda motors.
The AEM CAI on a USDM GS-R B18C1 is just a weird exception.

The sarcasm's good and all..... here's my two cents:
Why does it matter how many HP your car has?
Most people only want to know so they can brag to their friends... in which case, you might as well make up any number you want.
There's an old addage; HP sells engines, but Torque wins races.
And face it, these cars don't have a lot of torque... but adding a CAI does give you a little more, and helps across the power band. Every little bit helps.
In fact, until you do some major stuff like replacing the engine internals, all the bolt-on's are just that... little bits.
