Default VAFC mount (help!)

Hey, i just bought a VAFC off of my friend, but i'm not sure where to mount it. I heard that some people've taken out their in-dash clock and mounted it there, but I have no idea how it's done, and how difficult it is. If anyone could help out, detailing the procedure and let me know how difficult/long the process is, that'd be great. Thanks!

The clock is very easy to pull out.

Just take a screwdriver, put a towel over it, and pry @the bottom left corner. It's just held in by a couple of clips, pops right out. Then you just unclip the wiring.

I have my VAFC mounted there.

Also, if you aren't interested in the unit's display capabilities and are using it solely for tuning, you might possibly want to look into putting it in the glove box or the center console. It will be one less thing to attract thieves and vandals.
