We we're preping (installing Jun 8 lb fly and some Unorthodox pulleys) the b16 earlier today for installation on a 5g civic coupe. Came across a problem dealing with the engine mounts. The mount bracket on the pulleys side (right side if your facing it) doesnt work from the ole DZ engine. If im not mistaking I think I need a mount bracket from a Del Sol right? I'm going to pick one up tomorrow but wanna be sure if its the Del Sol mount or a Si Mount. Thx and I finally be posting some pics soon.

yeah your d series mount has only 2 holes right for the studs facing up? and your b series mount has the 2 holes for the studs facing up and a place for a bolt to go down behind those studs?

get a del sol bracket.

to be safe i'd say you own a pre 96 vtec sol.

you could probably use an integra mount too, but not sure if the b16 and b18's use different mounts. haven't looked at a b16 in ages.

 

You need the Del Sol bracket. The B16A did'nt come with it? that's strange.
