thanks chris! does that intake sound about stock at wide open thottle?

97: No A/C at all .
98: A/C option.
00 & 01: standard

Atleast that is my undertanding... may be wrong.

In Canada anyways:
97,98,99 A/C dealer installed option
00,01 A/C standard

I believe it was the same in the US with the exception being no '99's.

Wrong.

My '97 had A/C as an option, $1498 IIRC.

Well, it was a requirement for me, since the car started out as a daily driver in the DC area

Besides, I didn't have a choice, it was already installed by the SC dealer who traded it to the dealer I bought it from. Imagine that, the SC dealer couldn't find a buyer for it, so I got it 8)
