Sure... if radar or GPS tracking says 153mph, I believe it.

But how many people in this thread have actually been clocked at that speed or have a GPS unit that is capable of telling you your instantaeous speed? Not many.

I just wanted to point out to those that say 'my speed said x mph' that the speedo is off, especially the faster you are going.

So what your saying is that now that I have Falken Azenis 205/50/15 the car will actually be going slower then it says I am? Sounds about right but I'm not going to complain. Also the thing with the Vtec, I played with it the other by accelerating slower through Vtec to hear when it actually kicks in and it kicked in at about 5800 its just not that loud until you hit around 6-6100 rpm. But if listen closly you can hear the Vtec start to kick in.

In the end - what difference does it make whether it is 147, 149, 153, etc...it's all damn fast & faster than you'll ever get on a track unless of course Germany is in your near future

The fact that the stock R will hit 120+ knocks it over sooooo many cars. The fact that it can do that at the end of many on ramps is what scares the hell out of me for inexperienced drivers.

Here's a gear ratio calculator that is on team-integra.net. Pick the car and the respectable gear ratios and enter in your tire size. Out spits your max speed in each gear at certain rpms. If you don't want to go look at it, it says top speed for 97-01 R's with 195/55/15's will achieve 157 mph.
