I was checking out springs rates between the two coilovers in question and the Tein's have much higher spring rates than the B6s (even w/ circuit spring rates). So i guess the real question is higher spring rate = better handling?

Tein: 14/10 kg/mm
Zeal: 12/8 kg/mm

Not really on the spring rate question. I think more importantly than the rate itself is the relatoinship between the 2 numbers. Both are 4kg/mm apart. Both are too far apart. Also the RA shocks are not as nice as the B6 shocks. THat said . . . . RE>B6 IMO.

Spring rate wise I would say if you street drive your car much 12kg is about as high as I woudl go and that the rear springs affect ride quality more due to lack of weight in the rear. I have 10/8 on my B6s now but still can't get the car to rotate or the sront wheels to stick to the road despite shock settings. I would look at something around 10/12

i have found that having higher rates in the rear help the car turn a lot better...so i take it you would agree Trey?

Most definitely agree with that. Just don't get too carried away with high rates. 1kg/mm = 55.85 lb/in I think it was. THat being the case a 10kg spring is 559 lbs/in. That is about 2 times the stock rates.
