does anyone know if once i get cams i should tune the gears first or tune the vafc first, or when i get it tuned will they both be tuned at once? and what is the process of tuning the vafc. my specs are in the other cams post.

First, set your base timing (distributor). Next, make VAFC adjustments to get the desired air/fuel ratio. Then, tune the cam gears (remember to reset your base timing since the intake cam adjustment affects the distributor). Finally, recheck the air/fuel ratio and make any fine adjustments in case the cam gear tuning changed your previous settings. HTH.

he's right, but if you don't know what you're doing, spend the money and take it to a tuner. sounds as if you've never done it before
